Professional career

Benjamin Otto, born 9th of June 1975, started his professional career in Germany's oldest private bank before completing his studies in International Business at the European Business School in London. In 2002, after working abroad in Madrid and Buenos Aires and guided by his penchant for technology and entrepreneurism, he founded IHS Intelligent House Solutions GmbH & Co. KG as a supplier of high-quality architecture and innovative technology for private and commercial buildings. At the time, Otto was inspired by a visit to Microsoft's model rooms in Seattle.

Before Telekom had yet built its T-Com building, Otto realised a highly technological designer showroom in Berlin, in which the technology was fully available but was integrated into the living space. What started out as a small venture in a niche market dynamically developed into a medium-sized company group.

Once joined by his business partner, Marius Marschall v. Bieberstein, individual business areas were successfully hived off, further subsidiary companies newly founded and strategic acquisitions carried out.

Today, Mr Otto is the managing partner of the IG Intelligent Group GmbH company group, which serves as a holding for the group's business activities. He is also responsible for the activities of ITS Intelligent Trade Solutions GmbH & Co. KG.
 

Marius Marschall v. Bieberstein

Professional career

Following his studies of European Business, Marius Marschall v. Bieberstein, born 26th of December 1977, began his career with a leadership training programme at DaimlerChrysler Bank AG in Stuttgart. This was followed by positions in the areas of fleet management, human resources and in the European headquarters of DaimlerChrysler Services AG in Berlin.

In 2006, Benjamin Otto and Marius Marschall founded ILS Intelligent Leasing Solutions GmbH as a group-internal financial services provider, with a focus on sales financing in the media technology sector in light of the ever growing demand for innovative financing solutions.

Mr Marschall continues to be active as a partner in and managing director of LCD media GmbH in Hamburg, which is part of the company construct, and is responsible for the dealings of ISS Intelligent Service Solutions GmbH.

Dipl.-Ing. Frank Stern

Professional career

Frank Stern, born on the 27th of April 1968, studied architecture at the Fachhochschule Nordostniedersachsen in Buxtehude after his apprenticeship at the Oldenburgische Landesbank AG.

After receiving his diploma in 1995 Mr. Stern worked as a site manager for different buildings in Berlin before changing to the field of project management in 1998. Since 1999 he was in charge of big buildings in Hamburg as the responsible project director. This includes the supervision of the KPMG building at the Ludwig-Erhard-Straße, the extension on the corner of Englische Planke and the Oval Office in the City Nord.

 2004 Mr. Stern changed to Deutschen Immobilien AG and implemented several projects as a project developer, such as the Haspa- Hanse- Center at Eiffestraße. Furthermore as the branch manager among others he was responsible for the acquisition of the real estate for the project „Wallhöfe“. End of 2006 Mr. Stern took over the position of the branch manager Hamburg of ALBA BauProjektManagement GmbH. He successfully carried out the contract for the first phase of construction of Überseequartier in the Hafencity.

Since March 2009 Mr. Stern holds the position of the managing director of IHS Intelligent House Solutions GmbH & Co. KG and is responsible for 21 employees.
